Glaucoma co-management begins

For the first time ever, regulations have been passed allowing us to work with ophthalmologists to jointly co-manage patients with some forms of glaucoma.
For patients with stable glaucoma who wish to, shared care is now possible. In practical terms, it would mean that some glaucoma review appointments would be with us, and some with the ophthalmologist. Recent changes to PBS would allow us to issue repeat prescriptions for co-managed patients.
